Synopsis:
Tulip Fever is an American British drama film telling the tale of an artist who dares to love a woman he wasn’t supposed to. The story starts when an artist is given the duty of painting a portrait of a woman, who is married and is wife of a big shot. The film is set in 17th century Netherlands in the Tulip Mania where the love affair with a married woman was considered a very very bad deed and a punishable offence. He falls in love with the woman and she also starts having the same feelings for him. They both run away and start creating a future for themselves.
