Synopsis:
Bitter Harvest is a historical drama film telling about the atrocities of famine that struck the lands of Soviet Ukraine in early 30’s. Yuri is an artist who hails from a farmer family in the famine infested land and is in love with a girl. He somehow has to keep his family and his love alive in the times of extreme troubles. As Stalin works towards keeping the country safe, Yuri joins a political party in order to work towards the freedom of his country and also at the same time, must keep his love and family safe.
