Synopsis:
I, Daniel Blake is a French award winning film which has received some rave reviews for the accurate portrayal of struggles in modern day England. Daniel Blake, 59 has a heart attack that nearly took his life. And later, he gets diagnosed with a chronic heart condition which gives him a few more years to live. The movie portrays his love life, his past and moves forward as a heart warming tale of love, life and compassion. The film has received some amazing reviews for the performances, story and the direction in the major award functions such as Cannes.
Storyline
I, Danile Blake is an upcoming drama film taking on the life of a man in his prime who works as a carpenter and is leading a lonesome life. He isn’t making much as a carpenter and has to rely on welfare for the most part and once he has a heart attack, his life turns around. The authorities deny him welfare despite his bad health condition and he is forced to go back to work. The heartbreaking tale becomes warm once he falls in love with a middle aged woman, who happens to be a mother of two fatherless children.
