Synopsis:
Jojo Rabbit, American black comedy film, is a story that revolves around, during the period of World War II, a lonely German boy who daydreams of having an imaginary friend named ‘Adolf Hitler’. Jojo’s mother Rosie shows support to Hitler’s beliefs but secretly hides a Jewish girl Elsa Korr in their attic. Once Jojo discovers Era, his world goes messed up and he starts to question the nationalism ideology of Hitler. While World War II is raging, Jojo confronts his blind nationalism to the imaginary friend, who is an idiotic version of Hitler. The movie is based on the book ‘Caging Skies’ by Christine Leunens.
