Synopsis:
The Accidental Prime Minister, an Indian biographical movie, is based on a memoir of the same name released in 2014 by Sanjaya Baru, an Indian Policy Analyst and media advisor to the PM from May 2004 to August 2008. Starring Anupam Kher as Mr Singh, the movie visualizes the life, work, and controversies of the economist and the politician who was elected as PM under the United Progressive Alliance in 2004. Exploring the tenure of Manmohan Singh in the PMO, the movie shows the type of control he had on the country as well as the cabinet.
