Synopsis:
A Monster Calls is an American horror thriller movie based on a novel by the same name. The novel has been extremely appreciated by the critics due to the mature themes that it deals with. The story follows the tale of a young boy who happens to be dealing with the depression due to the terminal illness his mother is suffering from. A monster that lives in a tree besides him comes down every night to tell him stories which is somehow helping him cope with the sadness that is engulfing him.
