Synopsis:
Gautamiputra Satakarni is an upcoming south Indian Telugu language film chronicling the life of an ancient Indian ruler going by the same name. The film will look into his life as he handles his empire like a true warrior. He reined the present Deccan, known as Satvahana Empire back in 2nd century CE, when he ruled. The film will take a look at different aspects of his life as a ruler and how he managed to maintain the kingdom which once almost went to shambles. The war scenes have used minimum CGI to give them a raw and rustic feel.
