Heavy Trip, a Norwegian comedy film, is based on the journey of a 25-year-old, heavy metal musician – Turo who is stuck in a small town in North Finland. While Turo is a leading vocalist of the only heavy metal band, Impaled Rektum, the band hasn’t performed an actual gig or created a song in the last 12 years, except for rehearsing on covers. When encountered with an opportunity to participate in Norway’s hottest heavy metal festival.
