Synopsis:
Menashe is an upcoming American movie. The movie is primarily based on the struggles of a middle-aged man, Menashe, a kindhearted man who lost his wife, Leah. As the traditional orthodox Jewish society it is not permissible for a widower to raise, his son (Rieven) alone giving rights to his uncle to adopt him. He is left disheartened after nothing seems to work in his favor. He leaves no stone unturned so as to responsibly parent his young son; still his rabbi gives him one special week to spend with his son before the memorial of his wife.
