Synopsis:
Lipstick under my burkha is an Indian feminist movie about four women who are different from each other but they all have the same motive that is to live an independent life. The story is about a party loving Muslim girl whose parents sew burkha for her, a married sales woman who hides her work from her husband, a 55-year-old woman who is rekindling love through phone romance and a beautician from a very small town. They are all confined in the cultural society but they quietly protest for their rights while living every bit of it.
