Synopsis:
Shaft, an American action comedy movie, is the fifth part of the original Shaft series that follows John “JJ” Shaft Jr, son of Shaft II and original Shaft’s grandnephew. After his best friend dies an untimely death under suspicious circumstances, JJ turns to his father and a private investigator to learn investigation skills and unearth the truth of his friend. Along the journey, they also meet and team up with the original John Shaft, who has a personal and professional score to settle. As the Shaft team sets up on navigating the Harlem underworld, what happens next forms the rest of the story.
