Synopsis:
The Dissident, an American documentary film, follows the story of Jamal Khashoggi’s murder and the events that followed. A journalist at Washington Post, Jamal Khashoggi, was last seen heading to his country’s consulate office in Istanbul. After reports of Jamal gone missing starting holding firm grounds, his fiancé kickstarted an investigation into the matter. The inquiry unfolded many truths about Jamal and his death, including his connections to a dissident group and a major murder plan that led to him getting killed inside the consulate office.
