Synopsis:
Gifted is an American drama film telling the story about Mary, a 7 year old girl who is gifted, mathematically. She can solve the biggest of mathematical problems in minutes and her uncle believes that she has inherited the talent from her mother, who killed herself when Mary was six months old. He wants Mary to lead a normal life while her Grandmother wants Mary to be enrolled in a school for gifted children where she believes, that Mary could achieve some extraordinary feats. The film deals with the themes of alienation, family and how a boon can turn into bane overnight.
