Synopsis:
Kurukshetra, an Indian epic historical war film in the Kannada language, is a reinterpretation of the historical epic of Mahabharata war from the viewpoint of Duryodhana. Centered on the Kaurava King, the story begins after the completion of education and training from teacher Dronacharya by Kauravas and Pandavas. While the former party develops an animosity with the latter one, they challenge the Pandavas to a game of dice leading to their humiliation and Draupadi’s disorb. This, and other incidents that followed pave the path to the epic Mahabharata Kurukshetra war. The movie is based on an epic poem named Gadhayuddha by Ranna, which is itself based on Mahabharata, an Indian epic.
