Synopsis:
Serenity is an American neo-noir thriller that depicts a part of Baker Dill, a fishing boat captain who is spending a peaceful life at an island. Things change when his ex-wife, Karen, approaches him to ask him to murder her abusing husband. Though she comes up with a plan to feed her husband to the sharks to remove any signs of murder, the story uncovers how they plan a murder on the island and whether they manage to get away with it. Along with an intense murder plot, the movie also depicts at something peculiar about the people living in Dill’s small island town.
