Synopsis:
The Hate you Give, an American drama film is a tale of Starr Carter who is stuck in a double-world, one with black-colored people in her neighborhood and the other with white-colored people in her school. While she is already living an uneasy life switching between the two worlds, things get worse when her childhood black friend is killed by a shot from a white policeman. Being a black girl, Starr is being pressurized by her community to go against the white people, but her instincts don’t let her to. She decides to take the charge and make efforts to put an end to this discrimination by revealing the truth.
