Synopsis:
Tumbbad, an Indian fantasy horror film, is the story of the consequences suffered by humans, especially a family, after building a temple for the first-born of a goddess considered to be the creator of the world. While the mansion is known to hold a hidden treasure of gold, the storyline revolves around three generations of a Brahmin family who have plundered the cursed wealth. Vinayak Rao, great-grandson of the old lady who is known to start the misery, is obsessed with the gold coins and risks his life to enter the mother earth’s womb & obtain the treasure. The movie reveals whether Rao succeeds in his treasure hunt or not.
