Synopsis:
Contagion is an American thriller movie that tells a story about the spread of a virus. Beth Emhoff returns from Hong Kong, collapses, and dies from an unknown cause 2 days later. Her son also dies due to the same reason. The virus is shown to be transmitted by fomites while public health officials and medical researchers trying to find a way to contain the disease. The starting path of the virus is shown to be through a pig who ate a fruit piece dropped by the bat and then slaughtered for consumption, ultimately passing the virus to humans.
