Synopsis:
Maari 2 is an Indian Tamil comedy-action-masala film and a sequel to the 2015-film Maari. The second instalment begins with the return of Chennai’s local don after being off the radar for a couple of years. It also marks the return of one of his formidable enemies from the past who has emerged to push Maari’s career to a downfall. Since the acts of his opponent are not only affecting Maari’s life, but also that of his loved ones, the don shall rise against the new challenge to restore peace to his life. How Maari tackles his determined rival forms the rest of the story.
