Synopsis:
Masterminds is an American heist comedy film taking the audiences back to a real life event where a robbery took place in North Carolina in 1997. It was deemed as one of the biggest heists in the history of corporate America and the bigger tragedy was that the robber weren’t even professional thieves. The ones involved in the robbery were vault supervisor David Scott Ghantt, his married girlfriend Kelly Campbell (a former Loomis co-worker), her friend Steve Chambers, his wife Michelle Chambers and four other co-conspirators. The investigation took place and several people were arrested and the recovery was made of about 95 percent of the total money. The film features a cast comprising of Zach Galifianakis, Owen Wilson, Kristen Wiig, and Jason Sudeikis.
