Synopsis:
Hellaro is an Indian Gujarati period drama movie following a story that revolves around the women living in Kutch. Their lives change forever when one day, on their way to fetch water, they find someone in the middle of the desert. Manjhri, a young girl, is married off to a small village in the middle of nowhere in the Runn of Kutch where she gets the company of a group of women shackled by patriarchal mandates. While their lives are bound by the rules made by men which they have to abide by, they only get relief during the morning time when they go out to a distant waterbody to fetch water.
